A Poem
1 min readApr 9, 2024
I don’t think I’ve fully realized
Just how mortal I am
I remember being six, maybe eight
Cowering in the small space
Between my lower bunk and nightstand
Wondering if death could find me
Hidden in this little spot
I don’t think I’ve fully realized
Just how mortal I am
I remember being six, maybe eight
Cowering in the small space
Between my lower bunk and nightstand
Wondering if death could find me
Hidden in this little spot
