Once the other side of the road opened up, the car behind her bypassed her and sped off into the distance. Breathing yet another sigh of relief, she carried on slowly until she passed the police station and realized she was within a few hundred yards of the resort. She kept her speed low, remembering how he had gotten a ticket for going too fast the last time they had been here. Another shrug; another memory cast aside. She…
